Travel specializes in group travel to China. Over the past 10 years many thousands of
customers from around the world have travelled with us to this fascinating
land that is undergoing rapid change. Laurus Travel delivers outstanding

size (10-20), luxury accommodations and, more importantly, the finest
English-speaking guides China has to offer.
The company was founded by Heidi Li and
Julius Yan.
Heidi holds a BA in journalism and an MBA from the University of
Western Ontario. Her work experience spans North America, Asia and Oceania.
Julius started his tourism career in 1985 when he became a full-time
English-speaking tour guide in China. He spent his last three years
(1989-1992) with his Chinese employer managing the company's North America
department where his responsibilities included product development,
marketing and guide training. Heidi and Julius are supported by a capable
team operating out of offices in Vancouver and Beijing.
Laurus Travel leads its industry sector in service
and product innovation. We take pride in that many of our competitors
routinely "borrow" ideas and itineraries from us. As the only Canadian China
tour operator recommended by Frommer's, we have been interviewed and quoted
by various news organizations including The Vancouver Sun, Channel M TV and
The Globe & Mail. Laurus Travel is fully licensed and bonded in the Province of
British Columbia. Our mandatory contribution to the
BC Travel Assurance Fund means payments from our
customers are
automatically protected
irrespective of their province or country of residence. Our
