Chini Bagh Hotel
 Chini
Bagh (also spelt as Qiniwake or Qini Bagh)
means beautiful garden in local Uigur language. The
hotel was built on the original
site of the former British
consulate that was in use many decades ago. Arguably the best hotel
in town, it is 12km from the airport and within close proximity of the
famous Id Kah Mosque.
The 5-story new wing erected in 1990 adds 140
rooms to the total. There are a number of restaurants and bars within the
hotel which provide traditional Chinese cuisine and authentic local Muslim
cuisine.
 The
hotel is currently under Pakistani management, one reason it is popular
among traders from Pakistan.
