Oasis Hotel is the best of its kind in town with a great location. Its
traditional Islamic design incorporates elements drawn from the rich
history of the area. Walkways overgrown with grapevine trellises
crisscorss the courtyard. The Uigur rooms feature traditional kang
bed made of mud and bricks. The rooms are air-conditioned but some of them
are a bit dingy. There are two restaurants within the hotel, serving very
good Moslem cuisine.
